Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute neurological emergencies including stroke, status epilepticus, Guillain-Barr? syndrome, and myasthenic crisis
• Conduct stroke thrombolysis and coordinate mechanical thrombectomy with interventional neuroradiology
• Manage chronic neurological conditions - epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, MS, motor neuron disease, and dementia
• Interpret EEG, nerve conduction studies, EMG, and neuroimaging reports
• Oversee the neurology ICU and neurostroke ward
• Perform lumbar puncture and other diagnostic procedures
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons for surgical referrals and perioperative care
• Run specialised clinics - stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, and headache clinics
• Contribute to research, CME activities, and neurology training programmes

Qualifications & Requirements

DM or DNB in Neurology; valid NMC registration. Subspecialty interest in stroke, epilepsy, or movement disorders is welcome.
