Key Responsibilities

• Perform phacoemulsification cataract surgeries and implant premium and toric IOLs
• Conduct retinal procedures - intravitreal injections (anti-VEGF), vitreoretinal surgery, and laser photocoagulation
• Manage glaucoma - medical management, laser trabeculoplasty, and trabeculectomy
• Evaluate and manage corneal conditions - keratoconus, corneal ulcers, and keratoplasty
• Perform oculoplastic surgeries - ptosis repair, DCR, and eyelid corrections
• Manage paediatric eye conditions - amblyopia, strabismus, and congenital cataracts
• Interpret fundus fluorescein angiography, OCT, and visual field reports
• Conduct vision screenings, diabetic retinopathy clinics, and refractive error OPD
• Supervise optometry staff and coordinate with orthoptists for paediatric cases

Qualifications & Requirements

MS or DNB in Ophthalmology; valid NMC / State Council registration.
