Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular interventions - hepatic artery embolisation, TIPS, varicocele embolisation, and uterine fibroid embolisation
• Carry out non-vascular procedures - percutaneous drainage, biliary interventions, and nephrostomy
• Perform image-guided biopsies - CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy-guided
• Manage acute haemorrhage with transcatheter arterial embolisation
• Conduct venous interventions - IVC filter placement, PICC lines, and port-a-cath insertions
• Perform tumour ablations - RFA, microwave ablation, and cryoablation
• Collaborate with oncologists, hepatologists, and surgeons for multidisciplinary case management
• Supervise fluoroscopy suite, radiation protection protocols, and contrast safety
• Maintain procedural documentation and outcome tracking

Qualifications & Requirements

MD or DNB in Radiodiagnosis with fellowship in Interventional Radiology; valid NMC registration.
