Key Responsibilities

• Triage all walk-in and ambulance-referred patients and classify by acuity level
• Conduct initial assessment, history taking, and physical examination of emergency patients
• Initiate first-line treatment for acute medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies
• Perform bedside emergency procedures - IV access, catheterisation, wound suturing, and NG tube placement
• Administer BLS/ACLS protocols for cardiac arrests and respiratory emergencies
• Refer and coordinate with on-call specialists for further management
• Arrange and interpret urgent laboratory and radiology investigations
• Maintain casualty register, MLC documentation, and emergency records
• Handle medico-legal cases and coordinate with police and legal authorities when required

Qualifications & Requirements

MBBS; valid NMC / State Council registration. BLS/ACLS certification is mandatory.
