Key Responsibilities

• Perform craniotomies for brain tumours, traumatic brain injuries, haematomas, and vascular lesions
• Carry out elective and emergency spinal surgeries including discectomy, laminectomy, spinal fusion, and fixation
• Manage hydrocephalus with VP shunt placements and endoscopic procedures
• Handle paediatric neurosurgical cases including myelomeningocele and craniosynostosis
• Provide emergency neurosurgical care for head trauma and intracranial haemorrhages
• Collaborate with neurologists for combined neurovascular care and epilepsy surgery
• Conduct pre- and post-operative assessments and manage neuro-ICU patients
• Perform peripheral nerve surgeries and functional neurosurgery procedures
• Supervise surgical trainees and contribute to academic neurosurgery programmes

Qualifications & Requirements

MCh or DNB in Neurosurgery; valid NMC / State Council registration. Proven independent surgical experience is essential.
