Key Responsibilities

• Manage antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care for routine and high-risk pregnancies
• Conduct normal vaginal deliveries and perform instrumental deliveries - forceps and vacuum
• Perform caesarean sections, hysterectomies, and other major gynaecological surgeries
• Manage gynaecological emergencies - ectopic pregnancy, PPH, and ovarian torsion
• Perform laparoscopic gynaecological procedures - ovarian cystectomy, myomectomy, and tubal ligation
• Conduct gynaecology OPD for menstrual disorders, PCOS, pelvic pain, and uterine fibroids
• Supervise the labour room, manage the post-natal ward, and conduct neonatal checks
• Oversee antenatal clinics, colposcopy, and cervical screening programmes
• Collaborate with neonatologists, physicians, and anaesthesiologists for complex obstetric cases

Qualifications & Requirements

MD or DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology; valid NMC / State Council registration.
