Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage rheumatoid arthritis, SLE, ankylosing spondylitis, and psoriatic arthritis
• Treat connective tissue diseases - scleroderma, myositis, mixed connective tissue disease, and Sjogren's syndrome
• Manage crystal arthropathies including gout, pseudogout, and calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease
• Administer biological DMARDs and targeted synthetic DMARDs for refractory cases
• Perform joint aspiration, synovial fluid analysis, and intra-articular steroid injections
• Manage vasculitides and antiphospholipid syndrome
• Collaborate with nephrologists, pulmonologists, and dermatologists for organ-specific involvement
• Monitor immunosuppressive therapy and manage drug toxicities
• Conduct rheumatology OPD and provide patient education on disease management

Qualifications & Requirements

DM or DNB in Rheumatology; valid NMC registration.
