Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases, and pulmonary hypertension
• Perform and supervise bronchoscopy, BAL, endobronchial biopsy, and EBUS procedures
• Manage respiratory infections including complicated pneumonia, tuberculosis, and fungal lung diseases
• Conduct sleep studies and manage obstructive sleep apnoea with CPAP/BiPAP
• Oversee mechanical ventilation management in the respiratory ICU
• Interpret pulmonary function tests (PFTs), HRCT chest, and arterial blood gas analyses
• Manage lung cancer patients in coordination with oncology and thoracic surgery
• Conduct pleural procedures - thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, and pleurodesis
• Run respiratory OPD clinics and contribute to pulmonary rehabilitation programmes

Qualifications & Requirements

DM or DNB in Pulmonology / Respiratory Medicine; valid NMC registration.
