Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in medical, surgical, paediatric, and specialty wards
• Monitor and record vital signs, fluid intake/output, blood glucose, and other clinical parameters
• Administer prescribed oral medications, IV fluids, IM injections, and nebulisation safely and on time
• Perform nursing procedures - wound dressing, catheter care, nasogastric tube management, and enema
• Assist physicians and consultants during ward rounds, bedside procedures, and emergency interventions
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, Kardex, care plans, and patient records as per hospital standards
• Educate patients and families on medication compliance, wound care, and discharge instructions
• Follow infection control practices, hand hygiene protocols, and bio-medical waste management rules
• Respond promptly to patient call bells and nursing emergencies within the ward

Qualifications & Requirements

B.Sc. Nursing or GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from a recognised nursing institution; valid registration with the State Nursing Council. Experience in ICU, OT, or emergency nursing is preferred.
