Key Responsibilities

• Perform curative and palliative cancer surgeries - breast, GI, head & neck, soft tissue, and gynaecological cancers
• Conduct sentinel lymph node biopsy, wide local excisions, and radical resections
• Participate in multidisciplinary oncology tumour board discussions
• Manage post-operative oncological complications and wound care
• Coordinate neoadjuvant and adjuvant treatment planning with medical oncology
• Perform surgical staging laparoscopy and cytoreductive surgeries
• Handle surgical emergencies in cancer patients - bowel obstructions, bleeding
• Conduct cancer screening clinics and follow-up of post-operative patients
• Supervise surgical trainees and contribute to oncology academic programmes

Qualifications & Requirements

MCh or DNB in Surgical Oncology; valid NMC registration.
