Key Responsibilities

• Manage Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus including complex insulin therapy and diabetic complications
• Diagnose and treat thyroid disorders - hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, and thyroid cancer
• Manage adrenal disorders including Cushing's syndrome, Addison's disease, and phaeochromocytoma
• Handle pituitary disorders - acromegaly, prolactinoma, and hypopituitarism
• Manage reproductive endocrinology including PCOS, hypogonadism, and infertility-related hormonal issues
• Diagnose and treat osteoporosis, vitamin D deficiency, and metabolic bone diseases
• Interpret endocrine function tests, hormone assays, and dynamic stimulation tests
• Collaborate with diabetic foot surgeons, ophthalmologists, and nephrologists for complication management
• Run diabetes education programmes and outpatient metabolic clinics

Qualifications & Requirements

DM or DNB in Endocrinology; valid NMC registration. Experience in diabetes technology (pumps, CGM) is an advantage.
