Key Responsibilities

• Manage acute and chronic kidney disease, including AKI, CKD, and end-stage renal disease (ESRD)
• Oversee haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
• Evaluate and manage patients for kidney transplantation and post-transplant care
• Perform renal biopsies and interpret pathological findings for diagnosis
• Manage hypertension, fluid-electrolyte disorders, and acid-base imbalances
• Collaborate with urologists, transplant surgeons, and intensivists for complex cases
• Supervise the dialysis unit, maintain protocols, and ensure quality standards
• Conduct outpatient nephrology clinics and follow-up of stable CKD patients
• Contribute to academic sessions, research, and guidelines development

Qualifications & Requirements

DM or DNB in Nephrology; valid NMC registration. Experience in renal transplant management is preferred.
