Key Responsibilities

• Triage and manage all acute medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies in the ED
• Lead Advanced Life Support (ALS) and resuscitation for cardiac arrest and multi-trauma cases
• Perform emergency procedures - intubation, central lines, chest decompression, and FAST ultrasound
• Manage acute presentations of medical emergencies - DKA, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis
• Coordinate trauma team activation and manage mass casualty events
• Stabilise patients for safe transfer to ICU, OT, or specialist care
• Supervise emergency nursing staff and paramedical personnel
• Maintain accurate emergency records, triage scores, and documentation
• Participate in ACLS/ATLS teaching and ED quality improvement programmes

Qualifications & Requirements

MBBS with DNB / Fellowship in Emergency Medicine; valid NMC / State Council registration.
