Key Responsibilities

• Perform elective laparoscopic and open surgeries - cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, appendectomy, and haemorrhoidectomy
• Manage acute surgical emergencies - perforation peritonitis, acute intestinal obstruction, and trauma
• Conduct thyroid, breast, and parotid surgeries
• Perform proctological procedures - haemorrhoidectomy, fistulectomy, and pilonidal sinus surgery
• Manage soft tissue infections, abscesses, and wound care
• Collaborate with superspecialists for complex GI, HPB, and oncosurgery cases
• Supervise surgical OPD, dressing clinics, and pre-operative assessment
• Conduct surgical ward rounds and post-operative follow-up
• Mentor junior surgical residents and interns in the operating theatre

Qualifications & Requirements

MS or DNB in General Surgery; valid NMC / State Council registration.
