Key Responsibilities

• Manage acute medical admissions - infections, metabolic emergencies, CVA, and multi-organ dysfunction
• Handle chronic disease management - diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, and chronic kidney disease
• Conduct morning rounds in the general medical ward and step-down ICU
• Perform bedside procedures - lumbar puncture, pleural tap, ascitic tap, and central line insertion
• Triage and stabilise emergency cases before specialist referral
• Manage complex multi-system diseases and co-morbidities
• Coordinate with specialists - cardiologists, nephrologists, and neurologists for complex cases
• Conduct outpatient general medicine clinics and chronic disease follow-up
• Supervise junior doctors, interns, and nursing staff

Qualifications & Requirements

MD or DNB in General Medicine; valid NMC / State Council registration.
