Key Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anaesthesia care for elective and emergency surgical procedures
• Conduct pre-operative anaesthetic assessment and obtain informed consent
• Manage the anaesthesia for high-risk patients - cardiac, respiratory, and obstetric cases
• Perform regional anaesthesia techniques - spinal, epidural, and peripheral nerve blocks
• Manage post-anaesthesia care unit (PACU) and ensure smooth recovery
• Provide acute and chronic pain management services
• Assist in managing ICU patients on mechanical ventilation when required
• Handle difficult airway scenarios using video laryngoscopy and fibreoptic intubation
• Maintain anaesthesia records, drug audits, and equipment safety checks

Qualifications & Requirements

MD or DNB in Anaesthesia; valid NMC / State Council registration.
