Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and formulate goal-oriented, individualised physiotherapy treatment plans
• Provide manual therapy, joint mobilisation, soft tissue techniques, and manipulation for musculoskeletal disorders
• Administer electrotherapy modalities including TENS, IFT, ultrasound therapy, laser, and shortwave diathermy
• Design and supervise therapeutic exercise programmes for post-operative, orthopaedic, and neurological rehabilitation
• Deliver chest physiotherapy, breathing exercises, and secretion clearance techniques for respiratory patients and ICU cases
• Assist patients with mobility training, gait re-education, balance exercises, and prescription of walking aids
• Manage paediatric physiotherapy for developmental coordination disorders, cerebral palsy, and neurological conditions
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programmes, posture correction, and injury prevention
• Maintain physiotherapy assessment forms, daily treatment records, and discharge summaries

Qualifications & Requirements

B.P.T. (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) or M.P.T. (Master of Physiotherapy) from a recognised institution; valid registration with the State Physiotherapy / Allied Health Professions Council. Specialisation in orthopaedics, neurology, or sports physiotherapy is preferred.
