Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry (impedance audiometry) for all age groups
• Perform otoacoustic emission (OAE) and auditory brainstem response (ABR/BERA) evaluations
• Assess degree and type of hearing loss and recommend appropriate hearing aids or cochlear implant referrals
• Provide speech and language therapy for patients with articulation disorders, voice disorders, fluency issues, and dysphagia
• Carry out newborn hearing screening using OAE equipment in the NICU and postnatal ward
• Select, fit, and programme hearing aids and verify aided performance using real-ear measurements
• Counsel patients and families on aural rehabilitation, lip-reading strategies, and home communication exercises
• Collaborate with ENT surgeons for pre- and post-operative audiological management including cochlear implant mapping
• Maintain calibration records for audiological equipment and accurate patient assessment reports

Qualifications & Requirements

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from an RCI-recognised institute; valid Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Experience in paediatric audiology or cochlear implant services is an advantage.
