Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common skin conditions - eczema, psoriasis, acne, urticaria, and dermatitis
• Manage sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and STI counselling
• Perform dermatological procedures - skin biopsies, cryotherapy, electrodesiccation, and chemical peels
• Conduct cosmetic dermatology procedures - botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, and laser treatments
• Manage hair and nail disorders - alopecia, onychomycosis, and scalp disorders
• Diagnose and treat autoimmune skin diseases - pemphigus, bullous pemphigoid, and vitiligo
• Handle dermatological emergencies - SJS/TEN, anaphylaxis, and cellulitis
• Conduct patch testing for contact allergy and allergen identification
• Supervise the dermatology OPD and cosmetology centre

Qualifications & Requirements

MD or DNB in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy (DVD); valid NMC / State Council registration.
