Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient clinics and manage inpatient cardiac cases with evidence-based treatment protocols
• Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac investigations including 2D Echo, Holter monitoring, and stress tests
• Carry out interventional procedures such as coronary angiography, PTCA, coronary stenting, and pacemaker implantation
• Manage acute cardiac emergencies - STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock, and life-threatening arrhythmias
• Coordinate care with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and cardiac rehabilitation teams
• Provide leadership and clinical supervision to junior medical staff in the CCU
• Participate in Cath Lab on-call rosters and heart failure clinics
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, discharge summaries, and cath lab reports
• Contribute to CME sessions, case conferences, and institutional academic activities

Qualifications & Requirements

DM or DNB in Cardiology from a recognised medical institution; valid NMC / State Medical Council registration. Fellowship in interventional cardiology is an advantage.
