Job Description:
Teaching Responsibilities:
Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
Design and develop curriculum content, lesson plans, and learning materials for ENT courses.
Provide guidance and mentorship to students, supervise their research projects, and evaluate their academic progress.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of ENT and incorporate them into teaching practices.
Participate in academic meetings, seminars, and conferences to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide clinical care and consultation services to patients with ENT disorders.
Diagnose and treat various ENT conditions such as ear infections, sinusitis, tonsillitis, vocal cord disorders, and head and neck tumors.
Perform surgical procedures, including tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, septoplasties, endoscopic sinus surgeries, and reconstructive surgeries.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients.
Research and Scholarly Activities:
Conduct research in the field of ENT and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Seek research grants and funding to support research projects.
Present research findings at national and international conferences.
Engage in collaborative research projects with colleagues and students.
Supervise and guide students in their research activities.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Contribute to departmental administrative tasks, including curriculum development, exam preparation, and faculty meetings.
Participate in faculty committees and contribute to academic decision-making processes.
Assist in the evaluation and accreditation processes of the medical college.
Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.
Professional Development:
Engaging in continuous professional development activities, such as attending conferences, workshops, and CME (Continuing Medical Education) programs.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of ENT through literature review and self-study.
