Prescribe medications, hormone replacement therapy, or other interventions to manage or correct hormonal imbalances.
Diabetes Management: Endocrinologists play a crucial role in the management of diabetes.
Help patients control blood sugar levels, develop personalized diabetes management plans, and provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, diet, and exercise.
Thyroid Disorders: Endocrinologists evaluate and treat conditions related to the thyroid gland, such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, goiter, and thyroid nodules.
Monitor thyroid hormone levels, prescribe appropriate medications, and may perform fine-needle aspiration for the diagnosis of thyroid nodules.
