Position: Assistant Professor in General Medicine
Location : Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
Experience Requirements : 1 to 4 years.
Education : MD,DNB.
Salary : 100000 to 130000 Rs Per Month.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching Responsibilities:
Conducting lectures, seminars, and practical demonstrations to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
Developing and updating course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
Mentoring and advising students, providing guidance on academic and career matters.
Participating in curriculum development and evaluation processes.
Supervising and evaluating students' clinical rotations and research projects.
Research Responsibilities:
Conducting research in the field of general medicine, which may include clinical trials, epidemiological studies, or translational research.
Securing funding for research projects through grant applications or collaborations.
Collecting and analyzing data, and publishing research findings in scientific journals.
Presenting research findings at conferences, symposiums, and other academic events.
Collaborating with other researchers and medical professionals on interdisciplinary projects.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Providing clinical services in the general medicine department, including outpatient consultations, inpatient management, and emergency care.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as specialists, nurses, and technicians, to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Participating in clinical rounds, case discussions, and interdisciplinary meetings.
Supervising and guiding residents and interns in their clinical rotations.
Staying updated with the latest developments in the field of general medicine through continuous medical education activities.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to administrative tasks as assigned.
Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures within the department and medical college.
Engaging in academic and professional activities, such as serving on committees, organizing conferences, or reviewing research papers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized medical college.
Postgraduate degree (MD/DNB) in General Medicine.
Teaching experience, preferably in a medical college.
Active involvement in research activities, including publications in reputed journals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and mentor students and junior colleagues.
