Job Description:
Orthopedic surgeon senior resident job opening available for a medical college in Rajahmundry Andhra Pradesh.
Patient Care: Provide comprehensive orthopedic care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of orthopedic conditions and injuries. Perform surgeries, such as joint replacements, fracture fixations, and arthroscopic procedures.
Clinical Duties: Conduct thorough physical examinations, review medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests (such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans), and develop treatment plans for patients. Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their treatment plans.
Surgical Procedures: Perform surgical procedures independently or under the guidance of attending orthopedic surgeons. This may involve assisting in major surgeries, such as joint replacements, spine surgeries, or trauma surgeries, and participating in pre-operative planning and post-operative care.
Teaching and Supervision: Assist in teaching and supervising junior residents, medical students, and interns. Participate in educational activities, such as case discussions, journal clubs, and departmental lectures.
Research and Publications: Engage in research activities, including conducting studies, collecting data, and analyzing results. Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals or present them at conferences.
Administrative Responsibilities: Complete necessary paperwork, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Attend departmental meetings, conferences, and seminars.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments and advancements in the field of orthopedic surgery. Attend conferences, workshops, and seminars to enhance your knowledge and skills.
