Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, pancreatitis, liver diseases, and celiac disease.
Perform advanced endoscopic procedures, such as upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
Provide comprehensive patient education, counseling, and follow-up care.
Research and Development:
Contribute to research projects to advance the field of gastroenterology.
Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and research findings.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, technicians, and specialists.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
MD in General Medicine with a DM in Gastroenterology from a recognized medical institution.
Proven experience in a hospital setting, preferably in India.
Expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures and gastrointestinal disease management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Commitment to providing the highest quality patient care and adhering to ethical standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Fellowship training in a specialized area of gastroenterology (e.g., inflammatory bowel disease, hepatobiliary diseases).
Experience with advanced endoscopic techniques (e.g., capsule endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound).
Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
