Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including:
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
Pancreatitis
Liver diseases
Celiac disease
Perform endoscopic procedures, such as:
Upper endoscopy
Colonoscopy
Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
Provide comprehensive patient education and counseling.
Research and Development:
Participate in research projects to advance the field of gastroenterology.
Stay updated on the latest medical advancements and research findings.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, technicians, and specialists.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
MD in General Medicine with a DM in Gastroenterology from a recognized medical institution.
Experience in a hospital setting, preferably in India.
Excellent endoscopic skills and knowledge of gastrointestinal procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Commitment to patient care and ethical standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Fellowship training in a specialized area of gastroenterology (e.g., inflammatory bowel disease, hepatobiliary diseases).
Experience with advanced endoscopic techniques (e.g., capsule endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound).
Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
