Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our team at Idukki Hospital. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. As a Pediatrician, you will diagnose and treat various pediatric illnesses, injuries, and developmental disorders. You will work closely with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and health of our young patients.
Responsibilities:
Conducting routine check-ups, screenings, and vaccinations for infants, children, and adolescents.
Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses in pediatric patients.
Monitoring and evaluating the growth and development of children.
Providing guidance and support to parents and caregivers on child health and development.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pediatric specialists, and therapists, to deliver comprehensive care.
Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
Participating in educational programs and workshops for parents and healthcare staff.
Keeping abreast of advancements in pediatric medicine and incorporating best practices into patient care.
Adhering to hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Medical degree (MBBS) with specialization in Pediatrics from a recognized institution.
Valid license to practice as a Pediatrician in Kerala, India.
Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics preferred.
Prior experience working as a Pediatrician in a hospital or clinical setting is advantageous.
Strong clinical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and treating pediatric conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy and compassion for children and their families.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving pediatric health outcomes.
Willingness to participate in on-call duties and weekend rotations as needed.
